V/A – Aftermath LP (Compilation, Rare, VG+, OP)
Label: V/A
Genre: Punk, Hardcore
Hardcore anarcho-punk / crust comp from 1999, very good condition. Lightly played original press, some wear to sleeve but otherwise in very good shape. 'Aftermath', also published as the 'Profane Existence Benefit Comp' on CD, features a pretty hectic tracklist of hardcore punk and crust music intended as a benefit to the (originally) Minneapolis-based anarcho-punk collective founded in 1989.
The collective had a label, also called Profane Existence, which released Nausea's Extinction in 1990 as one of it's first ever releases. Profane Existence became a sort of ground-zero for the crust punk movement, and still releases music today.
The cover is in-fact a huge trifold fold out poster with information on the collective, label, photos, and the reason for the benefit back in 1999.
