THUMOS is the anonymous project of a well-known musician, active in several renowned bands. The concept of Thumos is thematically based in the works and life of ancient Greek philosopher Plato, resulting in a very personal spell of instrumental and atmospheric, evocative Post-(Black) Metal.
The Republic, originally released on CD/Tape/Digital back in January 2022, is Thumos’ most iconic release to date. Now available for the first time on vinyl, including 4 bonus tracks (some unreleased) from the original sessions (20+ minutes of extra delight). Hence the title, “The Republic (Complete)”.
Remastered for vinyl and revamped with stunning ancient paintings displayed in full magnificence over the gatefold sleeve.
