Stung, Issue #15 BK / Zine

'Stung' is a monthly zine made by local Melbourne photographer and visual artist Sally Townsend. As a photographer and visual artist, Sally describes Stung as a place for her to share artwork, photos and text and as a way for them to connect through sharing ideas, art and music. Each month's full colour issue has a different theme, which will either be a reflection on a topic Sally is interested in, or their feelings about the world around them and their experiences. Issue #15 is 20 pages and features a mix of photography and text. "I've given some of my old live music and street photography new edits to make them high contrast and semi abstract. This issue is all about some of my experiences and thoughts on being a disabled artist. It was difficult to be vulnerable, but it was very cathartic to make and I'd been thinking about it for a while."
