Stung, Issue #14 BK / Zine

'Stung' is a monthly zine made by local Melbourne photographer and visual artist Sally Townsend. As a photographer and visual artist, Sally describes Stung as a place for her to share artwork, photos and text and as a way for them to connect through sharing ideas, art and music. Each month's full colour issue has a different theme, which will either be a reflection on a topic Sally is interested in, or their feelings about the world around them and their experiences. "Lynch had a massive influence on my whole approach to my art and creativity, and when he passed, I was devastated. I looked back through my photography from various trips to the US between 2015-2019, and with some new edits, curated this collection of photos that reminded me of him. Adding in some hand stamped, collaged text dialogue from various Lynch movies, this is my tribute to my favourite artist and filmmaker."
