Immersive electronic soundscapes built from analogue modular synthesisers and structured improvisation, inspired by rock formations, geological structures and charged atmospheric particles. Gestural, unpredictable and deeply textural, LITHO captures the inherent chaos of modular synthesis in fleeting, unrepeatable moments.

LITHO is the first release from the upcoming double EP LITHO/IONO, a project spanning Banff, Canada and Melbourne Australia. Originally recorded in immersive 6.1 surround, presented here in a dedicated true stereo mix.

Performed on analogue modular synthesisers and keyboards, the music emerges through gestural, structured improvisation, painting sonic landscapes inspired by rock formations, geological structures and charged atmospheric particles.

Modular synthesisers are unwieldy beasts. Rather than imposing control, SDK yields to their inherent chaos. Every gesture alters the system, making each recording a unique document of a singular moment in time.
