Sissy Spacek – Gore Jet CD

Sissy Spacek is a duo comprised of noise maven John Wiese and Corydon Ronnau. They've previously rubbed shoulders with The Gossip, and indeed a collaboration between the two parties appears on this compilation release. Gore Jet compiles Sissy Spacek's various short-form transmissions since their first works in 2001, with releases like the titular Gore Jet and Phys Ed among the tracklist. Expect chaos and sonic violence in the grand tradition of Whitehouse and Prurient, with typically detailed Wiese production and a range of close-miced sound sources that goes beyond the genre's more customary distortion deluges.
