Senyawa's Doomsday is a 7" EP and book featuring experimental music by renowned Indonesian vocalist Rully Shabara and multi-instrumentalist Wukir Suryadi. On Doomsday, Shabara contributes his signature experimental vocals while Suryadi performs on custom made instruments with Side A ending in a locked groove of torrential rain in Eloprogo, Indonesia.
Accompanied by a stunning booklet / insert featuring artworks by Australian artist Stewart Cole (Rotten Realm), words taken from Unsettling Truths: Modernity, (de-)coloniality and Indigenous futures by Yin Paradies Postcolonial Studies Volume 23, Number 4, December 2020.
