Resident Pissant – Submerged Into A Milk Bath MCD
Label: Sweatlung
Genre: Noise, Avant-Garde, Local
21 minutes of rhythmic, atmospheric and ambient scrape, crackle and drone from the Resident Pissant Mark Groves (Absurd Cosmos Late Nite, Voice Imitator, and many more). A note from Resident Pissant:
"Most of this material was originally created for a live performance at Blacksound Records in November 2025 and has since been expanded with additional parts. Having consciously avoided it in previous iterations of the project, I was reluctant to use my voice, but one section took shape in a way that seemed to require it.
Otherwise, it’s a collection of modest fabrications built from looping churn and unsightly gunk, drawing in part from the experience of a prolonged internal irritation that lasted five years. It is concerned with discomfort in the body and the ways the body can present challenges. Maybe some people were lucky and their bodies did not start making inconvenient, rude demands until later in life. I was lucky in that sense, and if that has not been true for you, it may seem pretty slight. Maybe it sounds trite, even pathetic. Sure, some of that is in there. But it’s also likely that none of it comes across, and that’s probably a good thing."
