Noothgrush – Violations Of Consensual Reality LP

The sludge gods in Noothgrush formed in the early 1990's playing a visceral misanthropic strain of gut-wrenching punishing heavy music. Bleak, brutal and insanely cathartic. Over the years they played alongside nearly every single legendary band in their respective genre and even further out into the realm of punk and despair-driven underground music. They made friends along the ay, but one special friendship in particular was with the folks in Dystopia.

When Gary decided he wanted to focus solely on Bass, Noothgrush wanted to bring in a standalone vocalist. For almost any other group 2 decades into their career to bring in new voice would be blasphemous, but in the case of Noothgrush, Dino Sommese was a perfect fit because he was a massive fan of theirs. Aligning two of the the most respected bands in the extreme punk underworld under one banner is unheard of...

This is the definitive collection of the Dino Sommese, Dystopian era of NOOTHGRUSH. A culmination of more than thirty years of friendship in the metal and punk underground. Recorded by Greg Wilkinson and featuring their final track together, previously unreleased until now!
