Facial Mess / Scum split CD 'Hate Walking'. FACIAL MESS is the name that Kenny Sanderson, currently of LIKE WEEDS, has been active under for many years. The theme of this work, released in 2015, is "the fusion of hip hop and cut-up noise", which seems to have been possible because of the two people's omnivorous love of various music. It is a work full of playfulness, wondering what would happen if you combined genres that do not match. FACIALMESS boldly samples Large Professor's "Hardcore Hip Hop" right from the start! Not to be outdone, SCUM also compete with EPMD's "You Gots To Chill", and the album contains a total of 6 songs that are a battle of cut-up noise. The artwork is also the first that Government Alpha's Yoshida has worked on. T. Mikawa, ASTRO Hasegawa, and Government Alpha's Yoshida have contributed liner notes.
