Cruciamentum's Paradise Envenomed — the follow up to their 2015 debut long play — is a two-song EP, nearly 12 minutes long. The 7" features the title track, a new song written with the band's at the time new lineup, and a cover of Absu’s “Descent To Acheron”.
Recorded and mixed at Priory Studios by Greg Chandler, this new track shows the progression and advancement the band took following Charnel Passages and preceding their 2023 sophomore Obsidian Refractions.
The band’s take on the cult Absu track is also a noteworthy observation, with the band interpreting the song with their own signature sound and vibe.
