Since first collaborating with Profound Lore Records on their landmark 2007 release Eater of Birds, Colorado’s Cobalt quickly became recognised as one of the most singular contemporary American bands.
Nearly seven years after the release of its critically acclaimed album Gin — a milestone of literature-influenced and progressively minded apocalyptic wasteland metal — Slow Forever sees multi-instrumentalist Erik Wunder joined by new vocalist Charlie Fell (ex-Lord Mantis), who brings a new character and sense of savagery synonymous with the Cobalt sound.
Slow Forever picks up right where its predecessor left off. An epic double-album clocking in at 86 minutes.
Orange and clear coloured 2LP pressed on 180 gram vinyl, presented in a double gatefold jacket with vinyl housed in black inner sleeves. Also comes with an 11x11 inch 8-page booklet, download card and protective polybag.
