From the nascent sepulchral blasting onslaught of Civerous’ “Forms of Decrepit Brilliance” to the funereal gloom of Stygian Obsession’s “Slouching Towards Cognizance” that closes the album, a mood of earnest antipathy and bleak abhorrence remain pronouncedly constant.
