Chief Whip – Aurora Apparatus CD

Chief Whip was born during the 2020 pandemic, but the origins of the project delve much deeper than that. Through experience gained in extreme metal, classical and industrial, diverse theories developed and fused to become the basis of Chief Whip. But in contrast to other acts that would sound confused with such disparate influences, Chief Whip stays on course and is built on a cohesive foundation.

Recorded in strict isolation during lockdown, Aurora Apparatus is Chief Whip's debut release. Five tracks of industrial doom, echoing genre forebears Sunn O))), Mz.412 and Anathema. Aurora Apparatus deals with repeating generational wars through the lens of Greek mythology, in which misery is propagated through the ages as history is ignored.
